Well Male Homosexuals are the main reason for the spread of this disease.

They are far more promiscuous and their form of 'sex' also increases the spread of the disease.

It's not homophobic just the truth.

Prevention efforts directed toward gay men should address the hazards of using poppers. Prevalence of poppers use is high and research accumulates, including numerous posters at the current conference, finding poppers use increasing the likelihood of unprotected sex and HIV transmission. Public health authorities should challenge Google and Yahoo featuring sponsored ads in search result for 'poppers'. Despite federal law banning sales and distribution of poppers, Google, Yahoo, and MSN list sites selling the illegal drugs. Addressing poppers use is a small, but significant part of the prevention equation for gay men and men who have sex with men.

Nice way to get attention. The title is not only misleading, it is inflamatory.

Truth:

Yes, gay sex spreads AIDS, however, so does heterosexual sex.

If you read the article, 'Gay men represent one-fourth of the new infections in Latin America.' That means 3/4 of the new cases are heterosexual. The majority of the cases in the world are heterosexual. So what is your point? All should be concerned.

Furthermore Truth, Latino mores regarding 'mis comadres' (married men with women on the side, especially prostitutes)tend to me quite promiscuous. There is ample opportunity and occasion for contracting and passing on HIV.
