I begin to worry for NATO ships in the Black Sea... The number of shore-based anti-ship missiles could overwhelm the ships air defense systems. Just hope nobody accidentally hit the FIRE Button and turn the Black Sea into Red Sea.
I really wouldn't worry too much about the NATO ships in the region. Once the McFaul reached the region, it appears as though the Russians made a wise decision to back off and let it through. The Russian military is a paper tiger, and both sides are aware of this fact. It wouldn't be hard for the U.S. military to crush South Carolina, (about equal in size to Georgia) so no one should be impressed by their attempt to conquer a much smaller foe.
I thought they learned their lesson in Afghanistan, but I guess this is the going to be the sequel of 'Dumb & Dumber!'
