...doing nothing? As opposed to having nukes in the hands of people who think it is better to be dead? In the hands of folks who worship death?
Lance - go have your head examined...soon.
Here is Bush getting exactly what he wants from Europe...again...
Here is Europe making a good decision.
As I recall, I spent years hearing from libnazi wannabees how international cooperation was the way to achieve goals versus the unilateral method.
The paradox is, that Bush has used both, and is pilloried for both. What does that tell you about his opponents?
Besides, it looks like our reputation, in Europe, is just fine!
'As opposed to having nukes in the hands of people who think it is better to be dead? In the hands of folks who worship death?'
Your hyperbole is definitely showing just how you think. Just as Bush's hyperbole has discredited him.
The facts are:
- Iran has no nukes, but the U.S. does.
- Most muslims, at least the ones I am familiar with, do not worship death. Or to put it more accurately: They have no more worship of death than christians who reference the eternal afterlife often and what they need to do to get it and worship it in manner similar to muslims, by chanting often in indirect references.
- I know of very few people, either muslim, christian or any other person, that thinks it is better to be dead.
The fact is: Your statements are making excuses for violence and are supporting violence, bigotry and animosity throughout the world and are setting up a framework of 'me v.s. them'.
The fact is: muslims and christians share much the same behavior throughout the centuries of their existence and it is not a 'me v.s. them' issue. They are basically bed partners in violence as well as peace at different times.

Helping to fund nuclear weaponry (WMDs) and violence is simply wrong.
But, if that were a measure for closing a bank then nearly every large bank in the U.S. would be closed down. Especially the ones that help funded the construction of weapons of mass destruction.
