Britain to send 600 extra troops to Kosovo

London - Britain is to deploy 600 extra soldiers to Kosovo from next month to assist with NATO peacekeeping activities, Defence Secretary Des Browne said Tuesday. The troops would be despatched at the end of May and stay in the province for a month to help maintain public order.
