I am just sick and tired of US companies milking us here in Europe. This is pure discrimination! In US costs this device $179.00, with this new price-cut, we are being forced to pay $244.00 given the current rate. Even after all tax deductions etc, this is still too much of a difference to our US fellow geeks.

Just this weekend I was forced to buy an XBox Elite by my son who cannot wait any longer till Microsoft listens to our protest of high price unfairness in Europe. In US an XBox sells for $449.00, in Europe it is sold for 449.00EUR, just replacing the dollar sign with the Euro symbol. This is a rip-off; amount to buying it for $550,00 in US!

We all know MS is loosing money on the consoles, but the question is why the whole world have to pay for the losses in US. Don't get me wrong, I am a 'Softie myself, but I can't bear this discrimination. Saddest thing is that this is not limited to MS alone, all US companies considers Europeans as rich idiots who can't do simple maths of currency exchange rates, and dumping second-hand products and services on us. This has to stop!
