Poor Russia. It has trouble believing most of the foreign lands it invaded and occupied through the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries no longer wish to be ruled by them.

Aww ... poor Russia.

Georgia was never ruled by Russia besides being part of the Soviet Union.. You can even say that Russia was ruled by Georgia considering Stalin and Beria were of 100% Georgian blood.. And Georgians are pretty bad liars, blaming Russians for a missile and inviting an international delegation only from countries that are feuding with Russia and then covering up their so called evidence when a Russian delegation arrives.. Saakashvilli needs to take GW's c..k out of his mouth and do whats right for his people, who rely on exports to Russia for their livelyhood..

''Georgia was never ruled by Russia besides being part of the Soviet Union''

Um, so then it was ruled by Soviet Russia. Before that largely by Tsarist Russia. Check with Wikipedia.

Georgia was ruled by Russia before Soviet Union, they asked for it by them self. And this is why they still exist. Georgia was Orthodox and all countries around it - Islamic.

Putin's government is always creating and involved in some international intrigue. And it's straight forward understandable, don't forget that Putin is an ex-KGB sonofonebitch, it'a just outrageous that he's president of any country. The place of a KGB agent like him, after the fall of communism should be in jail at least for all the evil things he as part of this machine of torture, murder and repression committed and conceiled.

When the people and the economy are struggling in poverty (like in Russia right now) and their stupid government starts showing off their military with ridiculous 'imperial' delusions, it's sure indicator for disaster.

Russia and/or GeorgiaAug 22nd, 2007 - 19:58:31

Russia and Georgia, actually had very thight links during tsarist Russia time. Georgian nobelty was respected and always participated in a lot of high profile happenings in Russia. They actually fight for Russia in wars. They were great Russian army generals and soldiers.
A lot of them live in Russia, in Moscow...

About ruling, Russia(n Federation) was the first one who declared the independance from countries like Georgia, Ukraine, Lithuania, Litva, Estonia...

So it seems to me, it's more about those countries trying to bite Russia, than Russia trying to 'rule' them... It's complete noncense.
Who does trying to rule helping to set the governments of its choice even does not have to be named.
