The only thing good to ever come out of the Soviet Union is the following quote from Karl Marx...'Religion is the opiate of the people.'
Islam is the most violent religion! (please forget for a while about the 100 million killed in WW 1&2 by the most civilised nations of the world within a single century). Forget about the 6 million dying every year of hunger because of our parasitic economic policies and compound interest loans to strangle poor nations. Forget the the greatest nations can screw-up the environmet big time. Just put those thoughts on the back seat and the vision of new world looks very clear.
To all muslims when you said your religious is peaceful, why muslims kill innocent people with defenseless, in name of your God. If you said Irael and Americans kill muslims but that is in the war, if you are not coward then come out and fight like man, even beast still standing up to fight not hid behind women. I don't trust your religious anymore, why I don't see any top muslims official condems this act, that meant they are the same.
How about the cleansing of Christians in Darfur and Isreal? Also a bestseller book in Turkey recently was Hitler's Mein Kampf. What the heck is that!?

The Spanish Inquisition and Armenian genocide was a long time ago ending in the 1800s and early 1900s for 500 years and this is today.
Those societies need to be brought into the future following solid doctrine, not old thinking. The Spanish Inquisition was linked to old Catholic corrupt practices not the true word of the New Testament.
Democracies usually solve these problems we all hope.
It's the same old deal repeated over thousands of years, religions and there intepretor's of the Abramhamic origins; talking about somebody who allegedly lived some 900years BCE without any written authentification of his existence only handed down stories telling it's believer's of a God that is both demanding and commanding. This wrathfull entity, in my opinion; has never existed nor ever will, except in the minds of the ignorant
The difference is that the Christians who carry out evil acts do not do so in the name of Christianity. The Church and Bible clearly and explicitly condemn violent acts against innocent people. And when Christians carry out evil acts in the name of religion, they are condemned, sooner or later, only by principles within Christianity itself. These are the same principles that inform our modern idea of inalienable human rights. So when one blames Christians for the Inquisition, for example, the only ideas by which one can cast blame are ideas given to one only by Christianity itself. Similarly, the horror of, say, the St. Bartholomew's Day massacre is damnable only according Christian values. Were Christianity like Islam, Catholics would celebrate rather than mourn their “great victory” over the “infidel Protestants.” We don't see an ideological value for human life in Islam. And if it exists, Islam has done and continues to do a very poor job in educating herself and the world about it.
christians and jews kill also however, it's not all over the media...when a person walks into a school and kills 31 people, you call them a mentally disturbed person....when a muslim kills, you call them a terrorist...pretty interesting
your anti muslim comments hold no water...if you hate muslims, so be it...you still haven't proven any evidence that muslims are bad and that islam is bad....
there will always be people of all religions who do evil acts but to say an entire religion is bad because of a few individuals is idiotic...
Let's ban Christianity, Judaism and Islam! Make everyone convert to Fairy Wicca or Rastafarianism, then everything will be patchouli and sunshine.
Bias is... when you have headlines like 'Throats of Christians cut...' instead of 'extremists kill 3 evangelists (proselytizers)'. Or when mass misProgramming or misunderstanding brought about by employing the media-machinery to churn more than 1 hate book a day against Islam between 1800-1950 (Time magazine). When the civilisation of the Moors is concealed and the inquisitors are painted liberators. When the true history of Islamic religious tolerance is blacked-out (Fact that Muslims conquerors were welcome by inhabitants. That Jews preferred Islamic rule to Christian ones etc.)
The problem is that most non-Muslims equate Islam with the Arab version of it and more specifically the Saudi interpretation of it(Wahabism). Wahabism is indeed a cancer to the Muslim faith worldwide ... and a fast spreading one. Why? It is well fed with oil money and a vast dose of indignation at the hypocrisy and injustice of Western countries in its relations with the Middle East. I am an atheist and my blood boils when I see the West and Russia cut all kinds of deals with Arab/Persian despotic governments to guarantee access to oil reserves and weapons markets, knowing full well that a lot of that money will find its way into financing government sponsored extremist ideologies (Saudi Arabia anyone?). Ironically, the country most responsible for such bad judgment remains the United States. Ironically again, this is the country most influenced by the more extremist Christian ideologies (though in all fairness they don't hold a candle to Wahabism).
There definitely exist far more moderate implementations of Islam. You just have to look outside the Middle East region. It's in the human nature that the troublemakers get all the attention.

DEATH TO ISLAM
-Let me start off with this, to the idiot who wrote the
comment above, Allah is God whether it's in the Islamic
religion or any other, it is the same God.

'We do not go to war to wipe out an entire culture of
people.'
-Really, why you could have fooled me, you know it is one
thing to go to war in the name of religion, but when the
U.S. drops a nuke in Japan just for the sake of testing a
nuke, do you call this justifiable or does that not count as
wiping out a culture?
James Apr 18th, 2007 - 18:48:10
No wonder! If Turkey could get away with massacre of 1.5
million Christians (Armenian Genocide) and massacres of
other Christian Nations (Greeks, Assyrians etc.) what
difference will make 3 or 4 more killed Christians. It is
about time international community to condemn and sanction
Turkey to prevent future massacres.
-Now this one I find to be interesting, when Hitler started
the Holocaust, its interesting that the whole world was
aware of what was going on. So you think that Turkey
committed a so called 'genocide' against the Armenian
population killing 1.5 million people, at least I think
that's what the count is up to now since its always
changing, to you I ask,'where is the evidence'. Turkey has
repeatedly asked Armenia to send historians over to look at
any documents, grave sites, anything they wish to look at
yet they wont, why? Could it be because it never happen and
if this is found to be the truth, that Armenia will lose all
credibility it has in the world, because without
the 'genocide' who would know Armenia even exists. Also what
about the gencide the Armenians committed against the Azeri
population, funny how that's never mentioned.
-Now if you people want to sit here and tell me that Islam
isn't peaceful, than what of your religion. I mean throughout
history how many people have killed in the name of the
church, how many innocent people have been burned at the
stake. Not to mention how many people have your priests
raped. Now I am not a man that hates any religion but when
you stupid people get on here and try to disrespect a whole
religion for the actions of others I think that is what
todays problems arise from.

How much longer will the world insist on believing that
Islam is a religion of peace? This is a false religion, with
a false prophet worshiping a false god. Islam is indeed a
cancer on mankind
- To you, you are just ignorant, You are calling Islam a false
religion, then can you tell me how many times the Bible
alone has been rewritten, tell me how many different
versions there are because I can tell you there is only one
version of the Quran. Now which religion would be false?
MB - you have some good points....
to the islam haters....go educate yourself regarding islam then come back and tell me how you feel....it only makes sense to know islam before you start writing recklessly to get attention...
as a muslim, i'm sickened to read the article today about the people who were killed in turkey....does that make me a good muslim or a bad one?
Mr. Elyas,
You Say:
'Bias is... when you have headlines like 'Throats of Christians cut...' instead of 'extremists kill 3 evangelists (proselytizers.)''
You sound as if you think it is perfectly acceptable for extremists kill 3 evangelists. It sounds just as barbaric to me.
You Say:
'(Fact that Muslims conquerors were welcome by inhabitants. That Jews preferred Islamic rule to Christian ones etc.)'
If that were ever true, I think the 'inhabitants' and 'Jews' have changed their minds by now.
Many find that they are caught between hysteric religious forces. The word hysteric is the clinical term “fear.” Respect and Reconciliation seems impossible; and each wanting “the correct-way,” those middle-people hold no rights.
If a person follows a classical Tau then every hysteric religious force descends for a slaughter. Each religious force is “correct.” Is it possible that “the correct way” religious forces are a cover for another motive; and then asking where does this go, what does one see?
Hysteria is another word for fear. Fear is contagious. It moves in words not said. Leadership finds that 19th and 20th Century virus experiments for exploration & vaccines now move towards unending viral risk. They know fear; and in silence, hysteria. Here is the floor that supports oblivion.

The quran is bullshit and you all know it,how can you live in these days and times and say you follow the kuran, you cannot because it just would not work, look at these religious countries, are the leaders not running for wealth and all and the allah is second to them,it is true,it is a complete lie,all they want is money and power, and look at all the different sects of the muslim world, divided by one or two phrases, how do the muslims expect to achieve peace when they amongst themselves are divided, the killing between these people will never ever stop because the first thought for disagreement is to chop off a head or stone someone to death,so get with it muslim dicks and become normal human beings like the western world, throw away your comic book quran and lead a civilized life and reallize a big joke has been played upon you.
Turkey is not ready for the EU if the people of Turkiye and their government do not decry attrocities in the name of religion--any religion.
I belong to a small multi-cultural group of 'doctors-in-training.' We include one muslim from Pakistan; one from India; two from Turkey(Turkiye): two Catholics--one from Phillipines; one from US: one Protestant; one Jew and two atheists(last 4 from US).
We speak openly about religion. We learn from each other, and care deeply for one another.
While we have disagreements on politics (especially regarding Israel and Iraq), not one of us accepts murder as a means of dealing with prostheletizing.
The friend from Pakistan does believe the non-Muslims in the group are infidels, but he acknowledges that we live in a Modern Civilization, and that while principles remain the same, life must take place in context of society.
regarding 'To Muslim' comments:
wow...it's understandable how uneducated people would make harsh comments to try to anger people...we forgive you for being a product of your environment
as far as the leaders of the middle eastern countries...yes, many of them are money hungry and don't care as much for their religion as they should however, does that make islam a bad religion? what does a leader of a country have to do with the religion of the region? being a leader of a country doesn't mean you are a good religious follower....
Islamists have been killing from day 1 of the inception their so called religion ... First the Persians, other Arabs, Mongols and the Hindus, then other places in Africa, Europe, East Asia, and now they want to 'install' Islamic law on the entire world.
They been treating women as pigs, and brainwashing children (ask any Muslim kid who knows the Qu'ran By heart if he understands even a single verse of it), slitting throats, severing arms, gouging eyes and waging wars of conquest,
Their ethical and moral, humane and rational thought process has been hijacked by the unquestionalble authority of the supreme God and Supreme Qu'ran.
Their blind belief in the Mullah's interpretation is similar to Orwellian principles of Ingsoc.
Quote from 1984 -
'Thoughtcrime, they called it.'
Well....if you follow conventional logic about these situations (i.e. reference the Virginia Tech shootings)....it must be the knife's fault.
if any of you exmined hypocrisy u wrote above that is intolerance and ignorance
are u people blind what u right
who du represent, you yourselves that is it? no nation no ethincity, no colour no religion
its just you you were born yesterday of pure heart whithout tuch on or record
is their anything you are trying to say here that is not everything you yourselves have sort of admitted to be of as you accused islam as whole from this media story
then be ignorante towards something like this news stoy which seems in potrey heavily western media about some event which true knowledge of it is still not known but oviously you people are hypocritwe ignorantes so you dont care for facts or reality of life
and you start of with ignorante old political questions which have been answered and represent no reality or constitute anything
you have answered your selves of what you represent as total opposite what accuse others ignoarantly
