All she got was suspended. I'm not that surprised; they'll suspend a student for drawing a violent picture or conspiring against a teacher, but they do the same thing to her when she actually does something like that. I bet a student would get actual legal punishment for doing that to a teacher. It was good that he sued her, but he also should have slammed a fork in her throat. If I were him, I'd somehow trap her in a cage or something with a well-put together contraption, and then be like 'I'll let you go without hurting you if you let this shemale transvestite prostitute rape you in the cage and let me video tape it' and then after that scene cut out her eyeballs and make her mouth a gaping hole (and cut off her tongue too, appropriately) and then eat all of it so she can't see where she's going or say anything and just spend the rest of her life walking around as that funny-looking object. I could probably also get away with submitting pictures of her holey face to consumptionjunction for people to laugh at, because they wouldn't necessarily have evidence to know that I did that.

Children deserve better than to be subjected to such degrading acts. Whether it simply be the lack of experience of the teacher or the school for not providing better support or resources.
How many teachers would soon complain if this was there own child. Good on the parents for supporting their child. The teacher obviously failed, not just in her ability to find other strategies to distract the child from talking 'too much'. However, she also failed in her duty of care to protect the child.
Our children have rights. They have a right to express themselves (respectively), they also have a right to feel safe and secure.
If you as teachers feel that these 'brats' or kids are nuisances and you feel like getting your own. Do us all a favor and quit. Our kids don't need your attitude or abuse. Further, we as parents will not tolerate it !

Apparently this story is severely slanted, and should be corrected. The Italian press are reporting that the incident was an accident. The child's tongue was not cut off, but required stitches after he, angry at the teacher threatening him to be quiet or else.. ran towards the teacher carrying scissors, and BAM! you have your story.'
That is far more believable than what has been written here. (that is if you believe children are clumsy, they have accidents, and even do things like shoot up their schools and kill themselves) The teacher would have been reprimanded, jailed, punished further than just a suspension IF she held the child down and forcibly cut his tongue out. (which I also doubt since she couldn't control the child enough to stop being so 'lively') There was an audience I would assume, so the investigation will hopefully find the TRUTH. Hoping that the children confess what they really saw. And hopefully, learn that running with sharp objects or towards sharp objects.. isn't smart.
I think people really enjoy getting angry and mobbing others though, so carry on!
