There is no such thing as an accidental cutting off of a tongue. You grab it and you have to hold it tightly so it doesn't slide out and then I have no clue, but it's a thick muscle, so that takes more than just a snip. This is disgusting and makes me sick. one cute innocent little 7 year old who spoke out in class, now he's gotta suffer emotional and physical damage! Yikes.

cutting the kids tongue off is alittle extreme bt people saying 'oh it was just a 7 year old, such a sweet innocent cute little kid' should seriously give their head a shake they are probably the parents of such kids and are the reason teachers have to put up with so much disobedience cuz the kids know there wil be no reprecution for there actions, i wish they would allow teachers to bring back the dunce cap and make kids sit in the corner to be ridiculed by their peers like in my day, guarenteed there would be less acting out which was proven since people understood they would be punished and therefore did not act out, and since they are only sueing the school and the said teacher didnt get arrested or even charged or fired for that matter, means that obviously whats being said did not happen in that way and obviously the teacher was not to blame completely and like some one else said the kid probably ran at the teacher and fell and boom cut mouth

WTF!!! If i were that child's parent i would not only sue that Bitch for cutting off the tongue but i would beat her till there's no tomorrow and claim it was only an 'accident'. She's such a liar...accident my ass...she should be hanged for doing that...i can't believe she has even no remourse...he's only a child...like seriously, u can make the child stand in the corner or something like that, but this is too far...

That's pathetic. Everyone suggests that ex-teacher isn't doing his job correctly. All of you who think that are out of touch with the world. This sort of crap doesn't happen where i'm from....i'm from Nassau, Bahamas; and if that shit happened to my kid, she would not have been only suspended. not only would i have totally removed her tongue, i would have planted my foot so far up her backside, she woud cough up my shoe. and then the entire Bahamian public would have finished her off......the embassy would have had to smuggle her ass out of the country....believe that.....

The kids are getting more and more out of control these days. When I was in school if we got in trouble from the teacher we got in more trouble when we got home. Now if a student does something wrong the parent goes back to blame the teacher for hurting their child's feelings. Or to complain about a failing grade accusing the teacher's ability to teach rather than their child's ability to learn. I'm not saying cutting off a tounge or slice of is right, but I think teachers need to be given the right to discipline their students to an extent the way they did for our parents and/or grandparents.
that is messed up, but i cant help but to crack a smile thinking if i was that teachers student, it probably would have been my tongue she cut off. :p

What's planet do poeple live that let a teacher or anyone else hurt their child, that teacher should be put in jail for the rest of her life. Let someone do harm to my kid and see what I'll do, if the law don't take the matter in their hand first. God have mercy on her!!!!!!
