The world is less secure. George Bush seems to thrive on conflict and war. He has us in a terrible position in more ways than just the war. This is the beginning of the end.
Do you care to elaborate on what reasons provoked Mr. Vladmir Putin to 'accuse' George Bush of making the world less secure and moreover about the 'weapons of mass destruction' and other fabricated myths? Since they are not depicted; THIS IS CLEARLY A BIASED REPORT IN FAVOUR OF AMERICA'S TYRANNICAL REGIME.

Putin is the devil in disguise. He has an done an enormous amount of things to push Russia back into its former totalitarnianism (taking control of oil and other major businesses; removing tv's and papers' right to be in opposition to his policies; murder of those who were aware of what he's doing. The man is a monster and is now trying to shift focus from his recent wrongdoings (murder of ex-spy; improper raising of natural gas prices to surrounding nations).
What does that mean. Homeland or death. I don't understand.
It hurts to ear the truth! But this is completely wright, it is the truth.
Why would it surprise the Whitehouse? These politicians act as if they are 100 percent without fault and clean of any wrongdoing. They think other leaders are stupid and are simply disappointed when people can see right through them and their motives. Hopefully Hillary will be our next president. It's obvious men just can't handle the position with the exception of JFK and Bill Clinton. Truly two great men in presidential capacity. JFK did wonderful things and was a straight up guy. Clinton if given a bit more time would have had this country's budget balanced and totally in the black.
Of course the hawk would have just found it easier to access funds and would have spent our finances anyway. Just can't win. How much more suffering can this country stand. I think Bush needs to be out of the office before the election. Then again we will be stick with the fat bald guy which will probably be worse.

I like how H Russ has such little understanding of international affairs in his comments. He seems to lack both the intelligence and the ability to articulate his thoughts without sounding like he is uneducated. This is shown by his clear lack of knowledge about who the Vice President is. Instead of referring to Mr. Cheney, he refers to him as 'the fat bald guy.' I also found amusing how one person posted above said he thought this associated press article was a conspiracy of the administration. Clearly, that person had no understanding of who Vladmir Putin is. It saddens me how people like this are able to vote in the United States, but it is a democracy.
The Russians are helping the Iranians build there nuclear plants.
The Russians have begun allying themselved with China (SCO).
Putin has slowly been slowing reverting Russia to a communist like state.
Now Putin's true colors are showing.
Lines are being drawn for the 21 century. Beware of the outcome, its not a bright one.
Yes, Russia is helping Iran. And hopefully they will help everyone else too - Someone HAS to.
I find it sickening that we have reignited the arms races and proxy wars of the last millennium, while at the same time 'switching sides'. No longer is it the US fighting to keep the world safe from Russia - now it's Russia fighting to keep the world safe from the US.
Bush needs killing as a public service.
Under the govt of GWB the USA has continued its military aggressions around the globe. Unfortunately a large part of the american population continues to believe and cower to the scare tactics of this govt that a terrorist is hiding behind every corner and the only way to be safe is to attack. Instead of taking care of their own citizens, and not just the selected few, the US govt finds it more necessary to squander their tax money on an illegal and phony war in Iraq. When will american citizens wake up??
BTW, the only ones who are surprised at these comments are the infants sitting in the white house. Every informed person in the world knows that Putin's comments do represent a reality.

Putin is right. The debacle that is Iraq has sent a loud and clear message to all enemies of the West: Get. Nukes. Now!
The world will in fact be a safer place with a strong Russia to discourage further insane adventures in 'democracy-building'. That is the depth to which the US has fallen during the tenure of G W Bush and his cronies.

If the UN had the guts to handle the issue the US would not have gotten involved. You folks are morons. WWIII started in the 90s with the Trade Center, US embassy, and Cole bombings. It escalated with 911 and escalated again with Bush's ill-advised war in Iraq but these are just the opening volleys. The world has too many people and not enough resources as they are consumed today. Tyrants rule in most parts of the world including Russia and China. The US has very few options right now based on it's huge oil dependence and is just protecting them. If you would like to change the present reality then you need to look in the mirror and reduce your carbon footprint significantly.
