ICRC in Sri Lanka should be saluted for their most difficult work. About 20,000 was killed since ICRC was expelled from the conflict zone. Though the UN called the 'bloodpath' and ICRC called it 'a human catastrophe they heve never seen', Rajapakse butcher regime went ahead on massacre. Times London aerial pictures show the partial burial of the victims. ICRC is still denied full access to the IDP camps.

One thing Sri Lanka liked about ICRC is that ICRC's inability to testify war tribunals.

..in that none of these attributes were demonstrated when they visited Gitmo. They were hardly discrete, were politically biased and manipulative. Also, I suspect them of passing info to and from the prisoners. It seems that they discriminate from one government to another.
