It’s interesting to note that The Hindustan Times reported on 19 February, 2007.
(in an article: EU for inclusion of India, China in global diplomacy)
that Mr Solana wants to attribute IMF votes to China, India and ASEAN.

On 16 March 2007, Chan Akya wrote in the HongKong-based AsiaTimes Online an article under the title “A good use for the IMF: Bail out America”.

Is Mr Solana also taking the lead in promoting the euro as the new gold-backed (its gold reserved being marked to market on a quarterly basis) world reserve currency?
