About 200 police officers targeted the bikers as they travelled through northeast Czech Republic, stopping 484 motorcycles, three- wheelers and quadbikes, said North Moravia police spokeswoman Dagmar Bednarcikova.
The traffic checks were part of a larger effort to discourage the convention in Prague, which was supposed to attract thousands of bikers from Europe and include initiation rites for new members from Poland. The gathering was held, but attendance was lower than planned.
As part of the clampdown Hell's Angels from Germany and other countries were stopped and questioned at all Czech border crossings for three days.
Bednarcikova said officers in her district alone wrote 562 tickets, including 178 for speeding and 28 for driving under the influence of alcohol.
