From Monsters and Critics.com Asia-Pacific News Beijing - The confirmed death toll after a 7.8-magnitude earthquake on Monday has risen to 7,651 in China's south-western province of Sichuan. The official Xinhua news agency quoted provincial officials as saying the latest death toll still included no figures from some affected areas. Earlier reports quoted officials as saying an estimated 3,000 to 5,000 people were feared dead in Sichuan's Beichuan county alone.
