I am sure that the victim will find little comfort in the loss of the majority of his penile nerves and penile sensitivity [as proven the studies by Taylor (1991) and Sorrels (2008)]in the flippant and erroneous remark about 'cleaner'. This is simply another myth used to try to justify an irrational procedure!
I consider Thailand my second home and this sort of unnecessary and harmful procedure should be prosecuted as it would be in my home country--Thailand needs a revamping of it legal and ethical standards!
Circumcision is harmful the parents should be informed of this and counselled as should this young man. The parents should seek legal advise and sue for this assault on their child to which neither he nor they consented
