Actually, even (Chinese Taipei) is an outdated name to truly reflect the reality. The team name was decided by KMT regime in 1981 when Taiwan was still under martial laws. Therefore, the name was decided without the approval of the people in Taiwan. Now, it is a fact that more than 70% of people in Taiwan believe they are Taiwanese ONLY and NOT Chinese!! Thus, perhaps the (Chinese Taipei) team name should be discarded and replaced with the true name (Taiwan) or restored back to the original name (Formosa). Please support the name change to (Taiwan) or (Formosa) in the International Olympic Committee. GO GO TAIWAN!!

China has no respect for Taiwan in every international occasion. Taiwan is a self-ruled, independant and democratic country and that has been a fact for more than 50 years and should be recongized by every democratic country in the world if they have the balls.

Boycott Beijin Olymics if they don't know the manners.
