I think it is funny for a country so young like Thailand that was established in the mid 14th century to dispute a temple that was built before the 11th century. The name of the temple alone is in Khmer. It even lies within the Cambodian border. All the heritage and tradition the people of Thailand has today is adopted from Cambodia. A lot of the artifacts in that country were bought on the black market after being stolen and pillaried from the ruins of Angkor Wat, etc...
