I am extremely proud of the response shown by the people’s government and party to this most unfortunate of calamities. Their hard and diligent work in the face of seemingly impossible odds stands in sharp contrast to the incompetence shown by other governments faced with similar tragedies. Thank you, the CCP, for attending to my home providence during these most challenging times.
