This is pretty ridiculous. China has money, they don't need money, nor do they need people. What China needs is regulations. That is something the U.S. and Germany fear because they want cheap products at the expense of China's labor and environment. Money is a cheap way out and is just a small down payment on the sins of the west for being complicit in poor quality control and greed.

Isn't this amazing? China is outwardly trying to ruin the West, and here we go again....sending money to a country whose stock market is crushing ours, their economy is crushing ours, and they openly admit they are trying to destroy us and our way of life. Amazing...why WOULD we help them? Where was the Chinese aid when 911 happened, or the bombings in Europe a few years ago? The contempt that the Chinese government shows to the rest of the world should be enough to make us learn how pitiful we are. Screw them....let them pay for all their own problems. Friggin' liberals.

You guys don't know what you are talking about.
If you are a human being, you should feel sorry for the people who died.
Remember you will die one day, you will face judgment from God.

Typical moron....there is no god goofball. And if you believe there is, then why are YOU sitting on your arse and not helping? Typical hypocrite liberal. We said nothing about not caring. They don't need our help. Period. And the money we send them may well go to others who it was not destined for anyway. The tsunami a few years back had the same thing happen. Billions went there and much of it was siphoned off by greedy people. And the situation in Myanmar now....they admit that aid is being diverted to the juntas. So, before you speak, understand that we are infinitely superior to you in being able to think, AND we understand the evil that exists in the world. It's not like we don't care, it's that we are sick of people like you sending our hard earned tax dollars to people who are not in need of it. But typical liberals and religious fanatics like you don't know the difference anyway. Your whole life is controlled by little white men in white coats who have miffed people like you into believing that there is a white male god in heaven who cares. If god was so caring, why did 'he' let this happen in the first place? Open your mind...consider possibilities. Grow up. Smell the coffee. I couldn't imagine having to live under an ignorant tyrant's roof like yours.
