Save the earth from ChinaApr 1st, 2008 - 03:38:33

Chinese government is good at fabricating stories, covering up the truth and cracking down on different opinions.
Just like false and poisoned Chinese goods, if people do not try to block them, they are going to spread all over the world and control the whole market. As a result people will lose their ability to tell the truth from the false, or good from bad. China is the biggest factory producing false brand products and infringing copy rights or intellectual properties. Chinese people may be able to see a hollywood movie even before it is released to the public. Any software can be purchased form a chinese software market under ten dollars. If you want to know more, just ask any chinese around you, they know it all.
As for Tibet, Uigur(XingJiang) and Inner Mongolia, these regions are never a part of China. Today you can see millions of chinese people in these region. They take away valuable resources, such as coal, natural gas, oil, rare metals, agricutural products from these region. What is left is damaged environment, distroyed local culture and miserable local people. These local people are forced to glorify chinese government, if not, they will live a harsher life.
Never ever believe what Chinese government says. They already successfully cheated their neighbors, took over their lands and freedom. This is like your guest suddenly became your landloard, you are left little room to live. Nobody wants this happen to them. So please give your support to Tibet, save the earth from China.

I can go out on any street of any major city of the world and find counterfeit products. To say that it is a Chinese problem would be to promote continued ethnocentric thought. These products would not have a place in any market if people did not buy them.

Yes many of these products are counterfeit. But who buys them. Practically everyone. Actually the Chinese I am aware of hate counterfeit products and prefer the real thing as they can tell a fake product from others normally from quality.

And while China has been labeled as a producer of many dangerous products think of the American company that contracted with that Chinese factory to make the product to the American company specifications.

Chinese food products have also been singled out. But the FDA's own statistics show more products rejected at American ports of entry from India and Mexico than from China.

And as far as counterfeit American movies in China. China actually allows very few American movies into the country. And has recently cut back on the number of American made movies that are allowed. This may actually increase the black market demand for them. But if the Chinese government catches anyone making them they will be subject to punishment for this counterfeiting. The producers of these software products need to and are putting better protections in place for their products. This is not technologically difficult. But then again one of the reasons why Microsoft became the monopolist it is today is because they basically let people copy and use their stuff without any protections. Now that the products are de facto standards they are starting to enforce protections on their software.

USA is the true leader of freedom and democracy? It is full of double standards my dear! Ask any EU citizen or Russia or India or even China. Why only USA, most of the big powers work for their own interests. Hardly anyone really *cares* for the rest of the World in real terms

Do you have *any idea* about the world's Geography & rulers in 1239? So do you agree based on the 1239 positions all countries in the present time should start claiming the land just because of the alienation from the past?

Zephon, who in the world fed you such nonsense about Chinese army coming into Tibet to quell the Dalai Lama and Tibetan 'terrorists' in the 1950s? And yet, you accused others of being 'confused' about the history of Tibet? What hippocracy! Please don't tell me you got that absurdness from your parents. Seriously, please go do some research, and I don't mean Wikipedia...from REAL and CREDIBLE sources. It was an INVASION by the Chinese. That's it.

And like I said before, just because China had occupation in Tibet during the empire days, doesn't give modern China the right to reclaim lost territory. So get over yourself about Tibet always being a part of China and they having the right to be there.

Tom,

Are you serious? What kind of fantasy world do you live in? Did you just come up to the real world from dwelling in a cave all these years?

The U.S. as the true leader of democracy and freedom? Like Akula said, the U.S. is full of double standards. If they really are the true leader of democracy and freedom, why haven't they helped the Tibetans against the Chinese already? The Chinese invaded back in the 1950s; they had 50 years to help the Tibetans. Because there's nothing much to gain in return in aiding the Tibetans. Plus, the Americans and Chinese do a lot of businesses with each other, why scar that relationship? So the U.S., as well as many other nations, are not so altruistic as you may think.

And asking the Germans and Japanese for help? HA! read again what I just said above. Don't be so naive and wake up to the REAL world.

All who justify what china has done have no real intelligent and your ego will not let you see you have been brain washed by words and third party distorted facts that are just hear say Fact: hundreds of thousand have been tortured and murdered false leaders have been appointed as mouth pieces parroting the China lies the Dalai Lama said he would step down if the killing would stop no answer from China because with out some one to point at they have no excuses to persecute. And their aim is replace the Tibetans with the Hun
You cannot justify or laugh away the photo on the site “what really happened” documenting regular Chinese troops holding monk robes ready to put them You can not justify Britain giving any Tibetan land to the Chinese. They did not govern You can not lie that the Dalai Lama fled because in 1951, around 3,000 Chinese troops marched into Lhasa, soon followed by some 20,000 more, from eastern Tibet and from Eastern Turkestan (Xinjiang) in the north. The PLA occupied the principal cities of Ruthok and Gartok, and then Gyangtse and Shigatse. With the occupation of all the major cities of Tibet, including Lhasa, and large concentration of troops throughout eastern and western Tibet, the military control of Tibet was virtually complete. From this position, as a bully China refused to re-open negotiations and the Dalai Lama had effectively lost the ability to either accept or reject any Tibet-China agreement. However, on the first occasion he had of expressing himself freely again, which came only on 20 June 1959, after his flight to India, the Dalai Lama formally repudiated the 'Seventeen-Point Agreement', as having been 'thrust upon Tibetan Government and people by the threat of arms' .In assessing the '17-Point Agreement on Measures for the Peaceful Liberation of Tibet' and the occupation of Tibet two factors are crucial. And can not be disputed 1 the extent to which China was violating international law when the PLA marched into Tibet, 2 the effect of the signing of the forced 'Agreement'. Base on these facts The only thing for the rest of the world people can do and I do not mean world governments they do not have the guts to do what they should its up to the people Boycott the total games and the sponsors that make them possible. Hit them in the wallet it the only thing then understand it the only power we have let spread the word and use it draw attention to the madness maybe when enough loss of face and world wide shame is focused on China maybe they will value life more and stop selling human organs, suppressing religions and other ways of thinking that has upset the self appointed government ruling class that only power they have Rule by intimidation and fear this is a really weak hold on the mass of people who they fear will turn them out.if they do not keep them in objective state of fear
Come on people this is something we can accomplish just turn off the tube discourage people to go to the games hell with the athletes they can make this sacrifice we are fighting for a peoples existence and we can make a difference if we speak with one voice.

There was never any CIA link with the armed Tibetans. The Dalai Lama was not connected to any armed conflict he refused any outside aid all he asked was to be considered a “government in exile' his request has been respected. he is the head of the government and is received as such because in the Buddhist philosophy he is karmic responsible for all followers of Buddhism. I know this is fact. I was with the State department back when this was being bannered about like a hot potato . Yes the boycott will work just do it the Chinese will not lose face by losing the games.

You are a liar. You must be a Chinese spy. You are trying to tell people that the Dalai Lama has never been our friend and so we can be indifferent to him.

The fact never lies. The Dalai Lama has been a CIA agent for decades. His followers including his brothers were in the Tibetan militia, risking their lives and fighting in Tibet. We should never abandon a loyal friend like him. Period.

When will the Tibetans actually be permitted to choose their own destiny. It is not for Chinese, or anybody else, to tell the Tibetans what their destiny should be, any more than it was for the Japanese to tell the Chinese. Tibetans should be given a free choice about what they themselves think it means to be a Tibetan.

Other Imperialist nations have now let their empires go. It is now time for Imperialist China to allow the same rights to its own empire.

Everyone here can clearly see who is behaving like a real idiot, isn't it Tom? BTW, unlike you I don't need to base my arguments based on Google or Wiki. Yes, my 100 billion Neurons never fully put to use! Have you?

> You three are all stupid. You are all cowards, unwilling to do

> Read my post. Idiots.

Write something meaningful as it appears you don't know how to talk with forum members, forget engaging in a constructive debate! What did you learn at your high school? Let me tell you in my American way, seems you understand better:

'Put Up Or Shut Up!'

> The fact never lies. The Dalai Lama has been a CIA agent for decades.

Who taught you this or you got brain washed by your lousy communist party members? As I can see your emotions I have no doubt you must be a Chinese origin from Hong Kong or Western countries, which I care less! Point here goes by two ways:

a) Is Tibet really a China's internal problem? YES/NO
b) Does Tibet issue got anything to do with World? YES/NO
c) Does China handles its neighbors respectfully? YES/NO
d) Does China treats western countries respectfully? YES/NO
e) Is China marching ahead with any hidden Global ambitions? YES/NO

So you as can those questions, any school kid can with average General Knowledge can answer those questions!! Should I say more? Coming to the point, even though am not a Tibetan, but let me assure you that Dalai Lama is NO CIA agent. Period.

Lastly, I alway wonder why so many Chinese see these Tibetans as villains or culprits! Actually these Tibetans are poor and helpless Buddhist Monks who are peace loving and guided by their principles. Do you know there is a place known as 'Shaolin Temple'? Go and see those Kung-Fu fighters how they derive their strength & skills by thoroughly understanding the Buddhist principles. Chinese have not problem with that but they have problem with Buddhist monks in Tibet. What a double standards and shame!!

Brainless skunky mouth? hahahaha. Retaliation from a low-IQ yokel is so hilarious. Okay, so among your suggestions, what have you done? huh? Yea, I admit I haven't done anything besides voicing my concerns. What can civilians really do, besides making our voices noticeable to our government officials because they are the ones with the power to do anything about the situation. Of course, like I said, since nations are driven mainly by self-interest, your idiotic suggestions most likely won't happen. More likely, as protestors around the world increase, China will have to somehow settle peacefully as the Olympics comes near.

So why don't you do yourself (and us) a favor: get up from your chair, brush off those doritos and snickers crumbs from the keyboard and yourself, and go out and do something worth your while, rather than sitting there and showing your stupidity to everyone.
