RE:'Lee's election means the end of 10 years of government under liberal presidents who consistently followed reconciliation policies with Communist North Korea.'

From what I could see, those policies were more like 'capitulation' than they were 'reconciliation'. The DPRK to this day has not recognized the ROK as a sovereign country.
