It is taboo in Thailand when you disclosed yourself as a gay. As a human rights lawyer, and ordinary simple male, yesterday I fought with AIA and informing the press to push pressure against AIA over the human rights issues. Yesterday, AIA urgently informed public that there was no discrimination over this gayman 's insurance application and giving the reason that this group of people may have higher risk than other ordinary people. (For more details, please read Bangkokpost dated November 7, 2007)

There may be doubt upon the lifestyle of gay people in Thailand. Of course, they are specific group of outrage people that having difference life style, behavior, the way of thinking etc... but you cannot presume that they have higher risk than ordinary Thai male. Thai male have its motto that 'We reached everywhere if we had sex and giving our semen out there.' This is our male motto. Today, young people enjoy sex with fresh skin exchange. How AIA judge this homosexual lifestyle from their extraordinary behavior. They also ordinary human. Certainly, I have many gaymen clients. They behave and taknig care of themselves better than our Thai macho habit being. Think twice AIA!

If the insurance analyst considered his application based on his personal life style as he is a gayman, AIA should think twice. The gaymen are ordinary people who fear of death, sickness, injury. However, if the applicant infected of deathful desease, you can simply tell the applicant in confidential. Please review your opinion upon this non-sense issue. It does not worth your reputation and good will. If any applicant failed the medical examination, you could simply inform him secretly not to be this worldwide non-sense issue.
