I supported the name changes in previous companies, as those reflect the nature of the company. however this change seems too political and undermines the original purpose of the memorial.

Despite CKS made faults during his reign, his memory should not be altered, has he also has contributed to the economy and status of Taiwan. Renaming it would be to cover the content with another name, that does not reflect what the building is.

Don't you see that the DPP is playing into Beijing's hand by not claiming to be the ROC, but only Taiwan - a province of China?

Silly Chen, where do you think you come from? Aren't 99.8% of people who on the island of Taiwan from China? Do you deny your heritage?

Just keep the status quo and stop messing with history. beijing is screwing with the language, don't you mess up your history. The kids in school will thank you for not messing with what they need to learn or unlearn. Denying the truth is worse than banning it.
