Your writer suggests that the Democrats are the people that got Thailand through the last economic crisis and that this implies that they will do the same fine job this time. Are they are likely to do this by massively increasing the military budget to allow the generals to pick up generous kickbacks and buy expensive and useless weapons for wars that will never happen? How will they manage the failing economy ? Perhaps, to take care of one of Thailand core economic competences, it was necessary to appoint a commerce minister whose has lots of experience managing the biggest brothel in Thailand. Her experience of managing an institution that thrives on sex slavery will no doubt be very helpful. And the paltry 2000 baht gifted to the Thai taxpayer is just enough money to finance a single visit to the family business. Is this what they call an economic stimulus?
