Why can't an internation body, such as the United Nations, intervene and insure that relief packages get to the people, not just the military.

I am pretty sure that if the UN was to call upon mulitpule countries, that they could actually talk over that small country for a limited time.

All we can do now is put pressure on Burma's jaunta and hope they well let up. When that happens, we as a first world nation should step up another notch and get busier.
