A dictator's excuse to arm to the teeth only adds to the insecure and cruel intentions that lie ahead. Total domination is his way. How many people has he already exterminated in his own country? What human rights violations permeates his regime? Time will tell. The sellers of arms to this unjust man will pay for their contribution to the eminent disaster of World War III. How do we tame the awful actions of the world theatre? These kinds of profits embolden the best and the worst of mankind. Save your sanity, save for the needs of your people. The cost to arm and to utilize those arms is beyond comprehension.

For those who doubt such plans exist I would point out the simple fact that the US has attack plans written up for EVERY country. Even plans exist to attack the Netherlands, of all places. I do admit that doesn’t mean there will be an invasion, these are ‘standard plans’ that I am sure every country draws up but coupled with the words of both people within the US government and the ‘mouthpieces’ that leach to the government and you can easily see why he worries.

The US has tried to remove Chavez from power before to replace him with more US friendly people. People who had run the country into the ground previously, in the way typical of people thinking of nothing more then how to squeeze even more dollars into their own pockets. Those actions have made him extremely paranoid to the US’s intentions, and yet in a twist of irony he is forced to rely on them all the same, and them him.

So very ironic that all of Chavez social projects are paid for, and then some, by the businesses that the government seized such as oil. The US is the largest buyer of this oil; even though it constantly complains because of the way that Chavez had the government take possession of these oil assists. Socialism is bad, in the US’s eyes, after all…

Yet it is most telling is that the previous attempts against him, some very close to succeeding, have failed because of the will of the people. There is much documents on this out there, oh the Internet is such a wonderful thing.

Only thing I can ask is Chavez walking into a trap to stage yet another attempt or will the purchasing of arms be something that stops the next attempt. Let us not forget that the largest arm merchants in the world come from the US though, who spends more then the rest of the world combined on military ‘toys’, so yet another pot calling the kettle black…

After G8 disagreements between the US and Russia, Russia has no reason not to sell to Venezeula. Chavez isn't so bad. I like Jeff Cohen's article about visiting there: http://www.commondreams.org/views06/0706-32.htm
