WOW! totally looks like how Miss. and LA. looked after Katrina. Haven't looked very hard but does the Red Cross go down there for this? Or have they asked for any international help?
What about the other end of the country where Guantanamo Bay detention facility is located at wonder if there was any damage there.
Notice that damage seems to be limited to roofs in most cases. Construction methods in Cuba are completely different from homes built in the USA. They also seem to have a very effective evacuation system. I understand that shelters designed as defensive measures against a possible US invasion are utilized. They have a 'Blockleader' who knows everyone in his/her area and esures that everyone is evacuated 24 hrs before the onlaught of a tropical storm or hurricane. Of course no system is infallible.Sincere condolences to relatives and friends of those killed in this terrible storm.
