'the only Latin American city that welcomes the torch'? Is that TRUE?
What a disappointing day for the agitprop department of the 'International' media. Nothing short of a bloodbath would satisfy them. Next time they should pay more thugtivists (i.e., professional refugees / rioters / panhandlers who attacked relay runners on wheelchair) to show up, just like they did in London and Paris. This just proves the point that: wherever the hair of the populace is not black, the Olympic Spirit is hated.
It's about despising the Chinese for their atrocious maltreatment of Tibet and its people and their inexcusable and continuing support for the genocode perpretrating government of Sudan, not about 'the Olympic Spirit' (whatever that is).
The Olympics have been ALL about politics since at least 668 BCE. All the tripe about not politicising the Games is a load of dung.
Don't fall for the extremely well organized Han Chinese campaign to propagandise and twist the record of their brutality. They are trying to take over the world and leveraging their huge and acutely brainwashed population, as well as their enormous foreign exchange reserves, to do it.
Free Tibet!
Nice job dehumanize me and my people all 1.4 billion them. All brainwashed. What's next. De final solution to the chinese question. I just watched a reuter video on situation on tibet. very objective. it said that the ethnoviolence by tibetan was grossly underestimated and ethnic tension between Tibetan and all non-tibetans (Han and Hui)are high in Gansu. Gansu is a chinese province for more than 2000 years. Today, it had a large hui population who were largly chinese converts to islam. Many of them were decendants of arab and persian missionaries and bussinessmen. The existence and prosperous of Hui showcased China tolerance toward minority population. Hui people is expanding rapidly out of their autonomous territory of Ninxia into all nearby province including Tibet. They were also one of the main target of the Racially motivated violence on march 14 in Lhasa, where the TYC (Tibetan Youth Congress) controlled mob stormed local mosque and tried to set fire to it. The mob also set fire to local meat market founded by the hui community. Despite the violence and corruption against their bussiness, the Hui community continued to thrive in China in both population and econmic power. Currently, they are about the third largest minority China with population far larger than Tibetans. one more thing, the tibetan areas in the surrounding province were traditionally dominated by Hui. One could look at the ROC warlords in NW china, they were all Hui muslims and they control Gansu, Ninxia, Qinghai, and Xinjiang. Hui despite brief historical conflicts (aftermath of yuan and in Qianlong era Qing) were very loyal to China through out the different historical eras.
Yeah.........soo many big beautiful red and yellow CHINESE flags in that beautiful friendly city of Buenos Aires. Viva Argentinaaaaaaa........
