Transparency is what is required about crime in SA. Let us all have access to the stats, how the stats are compiled. Let the public be informed exactly what the plans are when security is 'beefed up'. Then public feedback will be effective about where the problems are, ans what is working. ... this comment is meant if there is a profound understanding of the problem and a sincere commitment to address it.
