“I’m just a dirty white boy.”

Foreigner was founded in 1976 by Mick Jones (lead guitar, keyboards, bass, vocals), Ian McDonald (guitar, keyboards, reeds, vocals), and Lou Gramm (lead vocals, percussion).

Though the years they’ve gone through some personnel changes so you get a changing cast of supporting artists.  Jones would be the only member that stayed with the band through the years and ‘No End in Sight’ also marks the first time the newest lineup has recorded a song, “Too Late.”

“Say You Will” is also a live, unreleased tune that was recorded at XM radio stations on June 2, 2008.  There’s also a live concert recordings of a medley of “Juke Box Hero” and “Whole Lotta Love” and “Starrider.”

These new addition appear towards the end of disc two.  Disc one represents a fine selection of the hits of the band, including “Cold as Ice,” “Double Vision,” and “Feels Like the First Time.”

An instant collection is always a plus for me and there are some fantastic hits on here.  Fans will want the new tunes and the live version (“Too Late” was released as a single if you just want that one).  A fantastic set that does highlight the very best of the group.
