From Monsters and Critics.com Music News The Zutons believe Jay-Z will be brilliant at Glastonbury. The British band's frontman Dave McCabe thinks it is great a rapper is headlining the traditionally rock-orientated music event, and can't understand why organiser Michael Eavis' decision has attracted so much criticism. McCabe told BANG Showbiz: "You have to have a bit of everything, it's good to have something a bit different. "I think Jay-Z is one of the best rappers around., I've actually got his 'Black' album and I like it, so I'm not deeply offended by him as headliner. "I saw Kanye West at Coachella and he was a bit s**t as a headliner to be honest. He wasn't very good with what he did." Tickets for this year's festival, which takes place over the weekend of June 27-29, are yet to sell out, in stark contrast to previous years. The Zutons play the festival on the Sunday (29.06.08).
