From Monsters and Critics.com Music News Copenhagen - All 75,000 tickets have been sold out for the upcoming Roskilde music festival in Denmark, with Bob Dylan and US rock group Guns N' Roses among the acts, organizers said Thursday. Some 160 acts including British rock musician Roger Waters - one of the original members of Pink Floyd who is expected to perform the group's classic Dark Side of the Moon - Icelandic band Sigur Ros, The Streets and American rapper Kanye West were slated to perform. The festival runs June 29 to July 2. The first Roskilde festival was held in 1971, inspired by similar events at Woodstock and the Isle of Wight. This year's theme for fund-raising in connection with the festival is focused on bonded labour and slavery, with special attention on children in Cambodia. Organizers hope to raise some 400,000 kroner (66,000 dollars), mainly through bottle deposits at the four-day Roskilde festival.
