From Monsters and Critics.com Music News Copenhagen - US rock group Guns N' Roses are to perform at this summer's Roskilde music festival, organizers said Monday. Fans and others may hope the band will play some tracks from the much touted, but yet to be released album Chinese Democracy. The group, with frontman Axl Rose, had been scheduled to appear at Roskilde in 2001 but cancelled. Other acts announced by organizers include Morrissey who performed at the 2004 edition of the festival, British rock musician Roger Waters - one of the original members of Pink Floyd - Icelandic band Sigur Ros, The Streets and American rapper Kanye West. The first Roskilde festival was held in 1971, inspired by similar events at Woodstock and the Isle of Wight. The four-day Roskilde festival runs June 29 to July 2.
