Iommi says Ozzi's alright
By Marc Shapiro Jun 13, 2005, 23:09 GMT
Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi says that he has no concerns about Ozzi Osbourne handling the rigors of the current Ozzfest tour some months after he latest stay in rehab.
"Ozzi is definitely in better shape," reports Iommi. "I was impressed with him on the last tour as well. He wasn't shaking as much as he had been . He was definitely getting himself sorted out."
Iommi plans on continuing to tour after his Black Sabbath obligations in support of his latest self titled solo album. But he insists that Sabbath will continue to enjoy his loyalty. "I don't know if I'm ready to divide my time equally between Sabbath and a solo career. My allegiance will always be with Sabbath. But given that, I'd love it if my solo album sold a million copies."
