Foo Fighters taking over MTV2
By Nick Jackson Jun 9, 2005, 20:54 GMT
This weekend, beginning at 12pm Eastern Standard Time - June 11th 2005,the Foo Fighters are taking over MTV2.
The band, headed by legendary grunge rocker Dave Grohl of Nirvana fame, will have complete control of the studio for twenty-four hours straight. The band, comprised of Grohl (vocals/guitar), Hawkins (drums), Shiflett (guitar) and Mendel (bass), will not only be responsible for hosting the channel but will also direct the channel in any way they see fit: special guests, live performances and more are all anticipated.
The Foo Fighters last album, One By One, debuted three years ago to less than great reviews and with their fifth LP, In Your Honor, coming out within the next week - release set for June 14th - the band is getting as much publicity as possible.
Fans can submit questions directly to the band in the hopes that they will be answered during the show by visiting the MTV website.
