Snoop Dogg's Pre-Gig Jitters

Snoop Dogg has shattered his macho gangsta-rapper image - by confessing he's often paralysed with nerves before taking to the stage.
The hip-hop stalwart has garnered a reputation as a hardman who's survived a tough childhood in a violent Los Angeles neighbourhood - but his harsh life lessons have done little to calm him before live performances.
And Dogg admits his nerves are particularly frail when he embarks on a world tour.
He says, "No matter where I go I always get a little nervous because I don't know what to expect. It's a lot of people screaming and their expectation is high.
"They paid there money just to see Snoop Dogg do what he do (sic) and I don't ever want to let them down. So in the beginning I'm always nervous but once I walk on stage I'm just ready to get it cracking."
