Russell Crowe Intends to Keep Rocking Despite Band Split
By James Wray Mar 26, 2005, 16:09 GMT
Actor Russell Crowe's band has split up, but he intends to keep going.
Posting the forum of "Thirty Odd Foot of Grunts" Crowe said that band had "dissolved/evolved" but added that a new lineup would be forthcoming along with a new album.
Writing about the split he said:"While that holds certain disappointments, they pale in comparison to the joy of writing unrestricted, of talking from my heart and mind simultaneously about things that are important to me right now … as a 41-year-old father."
Crowe formed the band back in 1992 and has remained an active member despite his busy movie schedule.
Regards the new album he says it will be "soft, gentle and expressive."
Movie wise the actor will next be seen in "Cinderella Man," where he stars alongside Renee Zellweger in the story of folk hero Jim Braddock, who defeated heavyweight boxing champ Max Baer in a 15-round fight in 1935. You can read more about the movie in our database.

I think he should, for all our sakes, stick to acting.
