3 Doors Down Additional US Tour Dates

3 Doors Down, who debuted this past week at #1 on Billboard's Top 200 Albums Chart with their latest release Seventeen Days, announce additional U.S. tour dates that extend their Worldwide Tour through May, 2005.
3 Doors Down kicked off their tour earlier this month in Daytona at the Daytona International Speedway. Their U.S. dates continue through February 27, 2005 with stops in Anaheim, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Salt Lake City and Denver before traveling to Europe and Australia. The band will then return to the U.S. in April with their first show at the Pensacola Civic Center, April 20.
After selling 231,000 copies in just seven days, the Escatawpa, Mississippi band has captured entertainment headlines across the country , including the New York Times' "Third Album is The Charm" and NY Post "3 Doors Equals No. 1." The Associated Press (2/11/05) says, "hard rocking riffs and sensitive lyrics...with it's third album, Seventeen Days, the band has blown away most of its competition."
In addition to cuts from their new album, including the first single "Let Me Go", already Top 5 at rock radio, concert goers can expect to hear some of the band's other #1 hits from their previous x platinum selling albums including "Here Without You", "When I'm Gone", "Be Like That", "Loser", "Duck and Run" and "Kryptonite."
3 Doors Down recently performed on The Late Show with David Letterman (2/8/05) and on stage with Lynyrd Skynyrd during Skynyrd's Superbowl Saturday Night Special on CMT (2/5/05). Rolling Stone says of their live show, "Proof that nothing's wrong with good straight ahead rock... 3DD performs with the confidence that comes with accelerating career momentum...they remain tightly connected with the crowd." The band will appear on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Wednesday, March 2nd. Breaking Benjamin and Silvertide will join 3 Doors Down as opening acts starting in April.
