Black Sabbath Best UK Rock Album Ever?

Black Sabbath has come out number one in a poll to decide the best British rock album ever.
Readers of metal magazine Kerrang! voted on the list and chose Black Sabbath's self titled album as the best.
The band beat off competition from Iron Maiden, The Sex Pistols and The clash to take the top spot, also picking up fifth place for their other album, Paranoid.
Sabbath featured Ozzy Osbourne on vocals, Tony Iommi on guitar, Geezer Butler on bass and Bill Ward playing drums. They released the Black Sabbath album in 1970.
Other Members led the band from also features twice with solo albums.

I agree 100% with the outcome. Black Sabbath have influenced so many rock and metal bands. Music wouldn't be where it is today without the influence of Black Sabbath.
To say Sabbath is only there because of the Osbournes is retarded. It's a Kerrang poll and that magazine loves Ozzy and Sabbath so much that I doubt that it wasn't fixed.

you're all queens. Led Zeppelin IV should have got top spot, but its good to see 2 Maiden albums in there too :o) Overall i cant argue with the chart though.
But stop reading Kerrangs, it's BAWS.

Black Sabbath is only up there due 'The Osbournes'. On another subject: LA Woman from the Doors should be on there.
