Ferdinand Lead NME Noms

The Glasgow rock outfit have continued their seeming unstoppable domination of every awards ceremony going with nominations for best British band, best live act, best single, best video and best album.Also in the running are The Libertines and The Streets who will face off against Ferdinand in the best album category.The winners will be announced on February 17, once reader’s votes have been counted.Front man from the band, Alex Kapranos said it was "fantastic news. It's made all the more special by the fact that these have been voted for by the fans."The band is also up for five Brit awards.
