Ja Rule and Ashanti Label Bosses Arrested

Irving Lorenzo (aka Irv Gotti) the CEO of The Inc. record label has been arrested.
The label houses such artists as Ja Rule and Ashanti.
It seems Gotti, along with his brother Chris, Ja Rule's manager and several other shave all been charged with laundering drug money.
Police allege that over $1 million in drug money has been going through the label's accounts and have been investigating the record company for three years.
The police say that Gotti and the others arrested took various cash deliveries from Kenneth "Supreme" McGriff (a know drug baron) into their label's offices. The record company would then write out personal cheques for the McGriff and pay for the likes of travel.
Gotti and his brother have both pleaded not guilty to the charges and have been released on $1 million bail bonds.
If they are found guilty they could face up to 20 years in jail as well as their assets being seized.
