Elvis Goes for Three in a Row
By James Wray Jan 19, 2005, 16:31 GMT
UK - Elvis Presley could be about to set another record in the UK singles charts.
As previously reported the deceased star has already taken the 1000th UK number one, had more number one's than any other artist and had the more dubious honour of the lowest selling number one in the charts' history.
This week his record company re-released "A Fool Such As I" and the track is outselling all rivals as we head towards Sunday when the top seller will be announced.
Presley is already at number one with "One Night" and the week before with "Jailhouse Rock", with the closest rival, The Chemical Brothers, being outsold 3-1 it look like the King will take his 21st number on
"A Fool Such as I" was originally released in 1959.
