Dave Stewart will return to Los Angeles’ Troubadour for a special “Dave Stewart and Friends” show, Thursday, April 11.
Stewart will return to Los Angeles’ Troubadour for a special “Dave Stewart and Friends” performance that will encompass his body of work as a solo artist and founding member of The Eurythmics.
He’ll also perform some songs from his upcoming album Lucky Numbers which will street later this year (exact release date TBA.) Tickets are on sale now at http://tiny.cc/ie6ztw.
Expect the unexpected as the iconic British singer, songwriter and guitarist will be joined by special guests throughout the show, just as he was at his sold-out performance at the same venue in September 2012. As they always do at his shows, creative sparks will fly.
On the disc, which merges his rock and country influences, he’s backed by the best players in Nashville: guitarist Tom Bukovac, drummer Chad Cromwell, bassist Michael Rhodes, pianist Mike Rojas, accordionist Kieran Kiely and steel guitarist Dan Dugmore. They also did the same honors on STEWART’s acclaimed Nashville-recorded albums in 2011 (The Blackbird Diaries) and 2012 (The Ringmaster General). For LUCKY NUMBERS, they all journeyed to the South Pacific to record the album.
