With the Voodoo Music + Arts Experience now just two months away, the annual Halloween musical celebration has unveiled the day-by-day schedule of talent with an updated list of performers.

The event begins Friday, October 26, Saturday, October 27 and Sunday, October 28 in New Orleans’ beautiful, historic City Park.

This is also the 14th consecutive year. In addition, for the first time this year, Voodoo will release a limited number of $90 single day tickets beginning today (Friday, September 7)

The 2012 Voodoo talent additions include Nas, Coheed & Cambria, Vintage Trouble and more than 20 artists from a variety of musical genres, which also reflects the cultural gumbo that defines this historic and beloved American city.

These acts join previously announced headliners Grammy Award-winning trio Green Day (in their only U.S. festival appearance), the legendary Neil Young & Crazy Horse and Jack White--one of the most prolific and renowned artists of the past fifteen years.  The Avett Brothers; Kaskade; Justice; Silversun Pickups; JFK of MSTRKRFT; AWOLNATION; Étienne De Crécy; K’Nann; Dave Stewart; The Gaslamp Killer; Thomas Dolby; Borgore; Nervo; and Supagroup round out the 2012 VOODOO line-up.  A full breakdown of VOODOO’s day-by-day line-up is below.

Excitingly, new changes include on-site camping.  A longtime tradition at the most renowned music festivals around the world, this is the first time it will be offered to VOODOO attendees.

The inaugural camping experience will offer festival goers the chance to sleep under the stars amidst two hundred year old oak trees, picturesque lagoons and waterways within City Park and located just steps away from the entrance to the annual Halloween weekend music celebration.

Camping options range from general tent camping with basic amenities to a luxurious all-encompassing camping experience, where concertgoers can arrive to move-in-ready 10x13 safari style tents complete with cots, bedding and pillows along with exclusive VIP access throughout the VOODOO weekend.  All details on the various VOODOO camping options, rules, regulations and FAQs can be found at the website (www.thevoodooexperience.com).

Tickets for the 2012 VOODOO are available now via www.thevoodooexperience.com utilizing Elevate’s easy online shopping experience--with helpful customer service--that allows buyers to print their own tickets.

Ticket prices (as of September 7) are as follows:  three-day weekend GA tickets are $175; Loa Lounge VIP three-day pass are $500 and Loa Lounge VIP three-day pass with parking are $550.  A variety of camping options are available beginning at $150 for two-person GA spot to a luxury Loa Grand VIP Camping experience.  Details on all the camping options can be found on the VOODOO website.
