British rockers The Darkness have reunited and are set to conquer North America again with a new single “Nothin’s Gonna Stop Us” and North American tour kicking off Wednesday, Feburary 1st, in Toronto, Canada.

The band’s original members Justin Hawkins (vocals/guitars), Dan Hawkins (guitars/backing vocals), Frankie Poullain (bass) and Ed Graham (drums) will premiere their first new song in six years on www.RollIingStone.com and the band’s official site www.theactualdarkness.com at 9:00 AM EST, Feb. 1st.

“Nothin’s Gonna Stop Us” will be available for free as a “Thank you” for all who’ve supported the band with sold-out tours on both sides of the Atlantic. The video for the song was created by artist Thom Lessner and director Ted Passon.

After winning three prestigious BRIT Awards, rocking sold-out crowds across the globe and selling millions of records worldwide, the group has established quite a formidable legacy in less than a decade.

The new tour features all the guitar mastery and electrifying performances that The Darkness are well-known for. The group will perform music from 2003’s multi-platinum album ‘Permission To Land,’ including favorites “I Believe In A Thing Called Love” and “Get Your Hands Off My Woman”; 2005’s One-Way Ticket To Hell And Back with “One Way Ticket” and “Is It Just Me?”; as well as several new songs off their forthcoming yet-to-be-titled third album.
