will.i.am releases solo single ‘T.H.E (The Hardest Ever)’

Black Eyed Peas’ will.i.am is set to release his first solo single “T.H.E (The Hardest Ever),” which features Mick Jagger and Jennifer Lopez, on November 20th. The single will be available on iTunes following a performance by will.i.am with Lopez on the American Music Awards.

The single is the first release from will.i.am’s upcoming solo album, ‘#willpower’ – which is expected in 2012 on the Interscope Records label. A video for the song, directed by Rich Lee and shot in Los Angeles and London, will be released later this month.

A seven-time Grammy Award-winner, will.i.am is known not only for his work with The Black Eyed Peas, who have sold 31 million albums and 58 million singles worldwide, but also for his work with some of the entertainment industry’s biggest names, including Michael Jackson, Rihanna, Usher, Nicki Minaj, Britney Spears, David Guetta, and film composer Hans Zimmer.
