Lady Gaga tops winners at MTV Europe Music Awards 2011

Belfast/Berlin - Lady Gaga captured the top prizes in the music broadcaster MTV's annual European contest on Sunday, held in Belfast for the 18th time.
The winners and their categories follow.
- LADY GAGA: Best female artist, best song (Born This Way), best video (Born This Way), largest fan support.
- JUSTIN BIEBER: Best pop star, best male artist.
- THIRTY SECONDS TO MARS: Best alternative band, best appearance on the MTV show 'World Stage.'
- BRUNO MARS: Best newcomer, best 'push' act.
- EMINEM: Best hip-hopper
- KATY PERRY: Best live act
- LINKIN PARK: Best rock band
- BIG BANG: Best World Wide Act
- QUEEN: Global Icon award
