Skid Row singer Johnny Solinger is continuing to explore his country roots with the release of ‘Livin’ Out a Country Song’ - his sophomore country project that tips a hat to the singers’ roots.
Although he broke big rocking with Skid Row, Solinger grew up in Texas and country music has always been close to his heart.
In a press release, Solinger stated: “It might seem odd to have such drastic tastes in music, but it feels perfectly natural to me.”
‘Livin’ Out A Country Song’ is featured by All Access in the “Cool New Music” section. The singer´s first country project was released regionally and the single “Too Well To Go To Work” hit the top 20 on the Texas Music Charts, making it to the #16 spot.
Since the release of that first solo effort, Skid Row experienced an astounding re-emergence on the world stage, covering all corners of the globe, including China, Australia, Argentina, Peru, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Wales, Sweden, Italy, Mexico, Taiwan, and even Russia.
