Matisyahu returning to the road for sixth annual ‘Festival of Light’
By Patrick Luce Sep 28, 2011, 16:18 GMT

Following the wrap-up of a 70-date worldwide tour this summer, Grammy-nominated artist Matisyahu has announced plans to get back on the road in December for his sixth annual ‘Festival of Light’ tour with the critically acclaimed Brooklyn based Dub Trio as his band.
The tour will include a three night stint at the Music Hall of Williamsburg (where he holds the record for the artist with the most sold-out shows at the venue) as well as performances in Philadelphia, and DC. Tickets for the Festival of Light tour are on sale October 5.
Like past ‘Festival of Light’ shows, fans can expect a very diverse group of support acts and special guests to be a part of these shows. Known for never performing the same show twice, Matisyahu has created a custom-built live experience for his audiences and continues to bring the Festival of Light through Hannukah and the surrounding dates.
Matisyahu will perform songs from all of his albums including his most recent Live at Stubb’s Vol. II.
Five years after creating an indelible mark on the U.S.’ musical consciousness with the release of his groundbreaking live album, Live at Stubb’s, Matisyahu returned to famed Austin, TX venue with his band the Dub Trio for an unfortgettable music experience.
The collection was released as a DVD/VD and holds a special meaning for him and his devoted fans.
Tour dates include:
Dec 19 Brooklyn, NY @ Music Hall of Williamsburg
Dec 20 Brooklyn, NY @ Music Hall of Williamsburg
