Sugarland urges prayers for Indiana stage collapse, stars tweet concerns (VIDEOS)

It was supposed to be a fun night filled with music and good times, but a tragic accident caused the death of five fans and injured scores more.

Celebrities are using Twitter to express well wishes for families of the five people who died when a Sugarland concert stage collapsed at the Indiana State Fairgrounds last night.

The Indianapolis Star was one of the first to report on the scene and claimed the collapse was 30 minutes after Sara Bareilles' set.

"The gust of wind came, there was no rain yet and the production fell from left to right," says Star music reporter David Lindquist, who was on the scene. "And you could see, you could clearly see people were under the footprint of the rigging."

The Indy Star reported that Marion County Coroner Frank Lloyd said the four victims died at the fairgrounds and were not taken to hospital.

About 12,000 people were at the concert, Lindquist said. Thunderstorms and winds estimated as high as 60 mph were reported after the collapse.
